Wayne Enterprises x Thomas James collaboration began with Mr. Wayne's ambition to never lose sight of where it all began. Mr. Wayne commissioned a large statement wall clock by English clockmakers Thomas James. A piece of art which enabled him and those within his company to remember the foundations of which his family’s company was built.
Tenbris eques, latin for Dark Night this stunning 680mm in diameter statement timepiece was inspired by the shadows in the night. At its heart is the rhythmic beat of a balance wheel. Controlling a perfectly engineered movement with an 8-day power reserve and finished in Platinum. The great wheel makes one turn every 24 hours. Winding and hand setting performed using a beautiful and tactile crown located at the bottom of the solid walnut surround designed in an intricate bricking pattern. Diamond shaped hour markers represent the stars in the sky. Each one made of solid sterling silver and individually assayed.
The Tenbris eques will be limited to only 6 pieces. Each secretly marked with a single letter and authenticated by a certificate of authenticity.
